Paul
Kitesurf, SUP, Wingfoil and Surf Instructor
Paul is one of our long term, resident instructors and has oodles of experience off our shores. He loves nature in general and especially to be on the water. He loves to travel and meet new people and cultures.

Martin
Windsurf Instructor
Martin is from Bulgaria and speaks Bulgarian, English, Dutch and Spanish. He comes from a world of sailing and hobie cats and is our main windsurf instructor. He can also teach surfing. He loves to travel having completed his dream of visiting Easter island!

Maxim
Kitesurf, surf & windsurf instructor
Maxim is Dutch and he is doing his second season at Flag Beach… his life IS watersports and his goal to travel all the best spots in the world sailing and riding waves. He is also a ski and snowboard instructor.

Ben
Owner
Ben is the owner of Flag Beach Windsurf, Surf and Kitesurf Centre. He set up the business in 1988 at the age of 19, firstly just renting windsurf equipment. Born in Las Palmas, Ben is originally from Cornwall, England and moved here at the age of 16. He speaks English, Spanish, German, Italian and French. Ben, of course, makes any and all final decisions regarding everything to do with Flag Beach as a business.

Rachel
Office Administrator
Rachel (Ben’s Sister) helps manage Flag Beach and in particular the admin/office side of the operation; reservations and managing the hostels, apartments, villas etc.
She has worked at Flag Beach on and off since the start in 1988 however came back for good in 1998. Rachel is a native Spanish speaker and also grasps various other languages on a basic level including French. She enjoys sailing, diving, biking and walking in her spare time.

Claire
Office Administrator
Claire works in the office doing the reservations with Rachel and helps manage the accommodations. Claire has lived in Fuerteventura since June 2005 and speak Spanish and English. Claire enjoys the outdoors and nature with a love of cats and aromatherapy.

Michiel is from Belgium and crazy about windsurfing. He is a full time member of staff at flag beach.
