We have a course to fit everyone’s windsurfing ability here at Flag Beach. We cater for all levels of skill and experience. You can choose the course duration that suits your holiday plans.
Beginner windsurfing courses
Our 1 – 5 day beginner courses will teach you how to windsurf in the picturesque waters of Fuerteventura. Check them out. We are also the only VDWS certified water sports centre in the north of the island. We can issue an international VDWS windsurf licences so that you can rent equipment at other centres on your next holiday.
Itinerary
Beach: Flag Beach and Cotillo Lagoon
Start time: 10am
Day 1
We pick you up from your hotel or wherever you are staying in Corralejo and take you to the beach where you will be given 3 – 4 hours of theory about the wind, currents, the right of ways, safety and equipment. You will learn to rig a sail, how to handle it on the beach and use the simulator. By the end of that session, you will also go into the water to do board balancing.
Days 2 & 3
You will again be picked up and spend 3 – 4 hours on the water learning to sail across the wind, sail upwind, tack (turning into the wind) and steer.
You’ll be able to take your level 1 windsurfing certificate with us at the end of this course.

Private windsurfing courses
Private one-to-one lessons are taught only by our best windsurfing instructor. For 60 minutes you will receive 100% of his attention and will practice any windsurfing manoeuvre from the most basic ones to most advanced tricks like aerials, switch stance, tacks, gybes, and more. The session is completely tailored to you.
